Dr. Tsegazab Kahsu Assefa (MD, MPH) is a highly experienced Ethiopian public health physician with over 19 years of leadership in the health sector. He specializes in Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (RMNCH) and HIV/AIDS programs, with a strong track record in designing, implementing, and managing large-scale, donor-funded health initiatives, particularly under USAID and PEPFAR programs.

He currently serves as a Consultant and Technical Director, focusing on strategic planning, healthcare program development, and partnerships with international organizations. Previously, he worked with WHO and Management Sciences for Health, contributing to national health strategies, including Ethiopia’s Reproductive Health Strategy, and managing multi-million-dollar HIV programs.
